Pump Pump Pump(kin) It Up Smoothie

‘Tis the season for pumpkin everything (literally everything if you’ve been to TJ’s recently). In honor of our favorite time of year, and our very first McToberfest, here’s a pumpkin-inspired smoothie to keep you full, satisfy your pumpkin-spice tooth, and inspire you to put on a scarf and frolick in a pile of leaves — that is, if you can find one in SLO.

P.S. Prepare this smoothie for breakfast or post-workout to keep you full and focused throughout your day.

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree 

  • 1 Serving vanilla protein (We love this one)

  • 1.5 cups almond milk*

  • 1 tbsp. chia seeds

  • 1 tbsp. almond butter

  • 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

  • Ice

Blend and enjoy!

* Sub in your favorite nut or dairy milk. Whatever works best for you (and your tummy)!
