Living in San Luis Obispo means getting to the snow is a commitment—hours of driving or even a flight. When you finally get there, you don’t want to waste the weekend “getting your legs back” or call it quits early from fatigue.
The focus: Mountain-specific movement
Skiing and snowboarding require unique physical demands that standard workouts often miss. During this program, we’ll focus on four pillars of performance:
Eccentric control: The ability to absorb force—essential for controlling your descent and protecting your knees.
Multi-planar power: Movements designed to generate power side-to-side and rotationally, not just in a straight line.
Deep stability: Core and joint stability exercises to keep you upright in variable terrain.
Endurance: Conditioning designed to sustain your energy levels for long days on the hill.
What to expect
This four-week hybrid program combines weekly in-person sessions with a digital program to master mountain-specific mechanics. Over four weeks, we’ll bridge the gap between gym strength and slope readiness by integrating hands-on training with consistent online accountability.

We’ll meet once a week for four weeks for a focused, small-group session (maximum of 6 participants).
This isn’t a lecture, it’s a workout. We’ll break down the biomechanics of riding and apply them to strength practices. Come prepared to work!

Consistency is key. In addition to your in-studio sessions, you’ll also get access to our 8-week online workout program to track progress throughout the season. This is perfect for staying on track at home or while traveling.

We’ve packaged the 8-week strength protocol into a digital format designed for the traveling skier/boarder. It is a progressive system to keep your legs ready to go all season long.
8 Weeks of Programming: Three workouts per week delivered via Superset.
Travel-Friendly: Uses resistance bands and bodyweight so you can train in your living room or hotel room.
